My name is Nancy Westlund and I live with my husband, Wes, in Weston, Vermont. We have two children; one son graduated UVM and is a fishing guide in Alaska and the other is a software engineer for Texas Instruments in Munich, Germany.
Originally from New York, I moved to Vermont over 30 years ago and taught in several Vermont schools. I hold a BS in elementary education from Monmouth University in N.J. and a Masters in Education from the College of St. Joseph in Vermont.
My FBUS career started by teaching the fourth and the fifth grades for five years. I left my position to become a full-time mom. After 8 years at home, I returned to teach first grade at FBUS for 13 years. I now have joined my brothers by having a career in the technology world. I am presently in my 8th year as the Educational Technology Facilitator for FBUS.
